2nd - Sue Grimmett & Lesley Cork - 44pts (24 on the back 9) - £35 vouchers to each player.

3rd - John Redmond & P.Edwards 44pts (22 on the back 9) - £20 vouchers to each player.

4th - Dave Lefley & Bob Rixham - 44pts (19 on the back 9).

5th - Anne-Marie & Colin Stott - 43 pts

Nearest the pin on 15 - winner - Pat Roper - £30 voucher.

Portal's next Open competition is a Seniors' Stableford Team Event (4 ball, best 2 scores count), for Seniors over 50 (Ladies & Gents), on October 3rd 2024 at the Portal Premier Course.

For over ten years, Portal Golf Club have been running Spring and Autumn 'Members' Seniors'' Opens (not to be confused with the ones organised by Macdonalds).

The Spring event is a Better Ball Stableford for teams of two and the Autumn event is an Am - Am for teams of four. These events are open to ANY combination of player aged 50 or over on the Competition date and we can arrange to make up teams of four if you wish to enter as a pair, etc. The 2024 dates are Thursday 9 May and Thursday 3 October 2024.

This year, we are also running a BBS Open (age limit 18+) on Thursday 15 August.
